San Jose 44th Annual Day of Remembrance hosted by the Nihonmachi Outreach Committee, will be taking place on Sunday, February 18th from 5:30-7pm at the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin Annex. This year's theme is "Youth Activism: Building Community". SJSU Alum Nina Chuang and Dr. Yvonne Kwan of SJSU Asian American Studies will be a speaker and will share about the student movement to demand institutional acknowledgement of this history.
